Secretariat of the European BiofuelsTechnology Platform

The European Biofuels Technology Platform is supported by a Secretariat, which is funded in part by the European Commission (FP7, Grant Agreement Number 241269). The current contract runs from 1 April 2009 - 31 March 2012.

The EBTP Secretariat is coordinated by Fachagentur Nachwachsende Rohstoffe e.V (FNR, Gülzow, Germany). The website and communication activities are provided by CPL Press (CPL, Newbury, UK).

FNR was initiated in 1993 by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry in order to support research and development in the area of renewable resources. It provides professional consultation and financial support as well as taking part in scientific events, notifying results of research to the general public and providing information on all aspects of renewable resources.
